Caleb Costner to compete full-time in ARCA Menards Series for Costner Weaver Motorsports; D.L. Wilson set for full East season

DALLAS, N.C. — Officials from Costner Weaver Motorsports announced today that Caleb Costner will compete full-time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2024 in the No. 93 Chevrolet.

The team will also field a second entry for driver D.L. Wilson, who will drive the No. 39 Chevrolet for the full ARCA Menards Series East season.

“As a kid, all I ever dreamed of was becoming a full-time race car driver,” Costner said. “But at 18 years old, I gave up on that dream of racing full-time to pursue a more stable and consistent career path.

“Who would have thought at 30 years old, that suppressed dream would be fulfilled, and I would finally get that opportunity? To say this season will be a dream come true is putting it lightly. I’ve never been more determined and focused for this moment.”

Costner made his ARCA Menards Series debut in 2023 by competing in five events, earning a best finish of 13th at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Wilson has made starts in all three ARCA platform divisions, including seven East Series starts. He has one top-10 finish in ARCA Menards Series competition, which came at the Illinois State Fairgrounds dirt mile in 2021.

The busy 2024 season for Costner Weaver Motorsports will begin with Costner participating in the ARCA Menards Series pre-race practice at Daytona International Speedway on Jan. 12-13. Darrell Phillips will serve as crew chief for the 2024 campaign, bringing experience from NASCAR’s upper ranks to the team.

“We’ve been quietly putting the right people in the right places and really creating something special with our group,” Costner said. “As a team, every single one of us are hungry and have something to prove.”

Lickety Lews – All-Purpose Boo Yow Sauce and Innovative Tiny Houses will continue its partnership with Costner Weaver Motorsports throughout the season in addition to many new partners.

“2024 will be a monumental year in the growth and development of our team,” Costner said. “Daytona can’t get here soon enough.”
