Tanner Reif, Brandon Jones to share Cook Racing Technologies No. 42 in 2024

Cook Racing Technologies, in partnership with MMI Racing, will field the No. 42 Chevrolet for drivers Tanner Reif and Brandon Jones in 11 events across all three ARCA Menards Series platform divisions in 2024.

Reif, who last year drove for Bill McAnally Racing in the ARCA Menards Series West, will pilot the No. 42 Chevrolet in eight events starting at Phoenix Raceway in March. Jones, who pilots the No. 9 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will compete in three events during NASCAR companion race weekends in 2024.

Team co-owners Bruce Cook and Steve McGowan are coming off a banner year in ARCA Menards Series West competition. With Kaden Honeycutt and Landen Lewis splitting time in team’s No. 17 Chevrolet, the team won three races en route to the ARCA Menards Series West owner’s championship.

The 2024 season will mark Reif’s third year on the ARCA platform. He made his debut in 2022 driving for Sunrise Ford Racing in the ARCA Menards Series West, winning two races en route to a runner-up championship finish. He shifted to Bill McAnally Racing in 2023 and finished the season ranked fifth in the championship standings.

Jones is a veteran of the ARCA platform, having competed in more than 50 races since 2012. He has earned eight ARCA Menards Series victories and two ARCA Menards Series East victories.

His success on the ARCA platform has allowed him to move to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he is a five-time winner. He also has one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory, which came in 2020.
