DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Almost 50 drivers attempted to qualify for a 40-car field in the 2024 Daytona ARCA 200 on Friday ahead of what’s now a late-night race.

But before the race came a dramatic group qualifying session.

The fastest 34 drivers in qualifying were, while the final six positions were reserved for provisional starts.
