Caleb Costner and CW Motorsports to honor fallen United States Navy SEAL with the C4 Foundation at Charlotte

DALLAS, North Carolina – Caleb Costner and CW Motorsports are honored to announce a partnership with the C4 Foundation for this week’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway for Memorial Day weekend.

The C4 Foundation’s mission is to provide resources and support to America’s most elite warriors, Navy SEALs, and their families. The foundation maintains a 560-acre ranch a short distance from San Diego, the home of the Navy SEALs, where C4 features F.R.O.G. (Families building Resilience through Optimism and Gratitude) programs. These programs are focused on SEALs and their families connecting before a deployment or reconnecting with their families when returning from a deployment in a nature-based setting. All free of charge.

“When the C4 Foundation was founded by the Keating family, they set out to find needs that were not being met in the SEAL community. Very quickly, it became apparent that there was a desperate lack of decompression programs available for active-duty SEALs and their families. The C4 Ranch provides a much-needed space for respite and reconnection for our SEAL operators and their families and the F.R.O.G. Programs, coupled with our beautiful nature-based setting are providing the families with an outlet to heal and build fortitude.” said Director of Programs, Jennifer Cooper.

“The impact that the C4 Ranch and our F.R.O.G. Programs has had on SEALs and their families is clear when we read any one of the many testimonials we receive on a weekly basis. One SEAL just recently wrote the following after attending one of our family retreats: “I think God blew life back into some very old embers of a very old campfire that I walked away from a long time ago. Thank you to everyone involved in this place.” It humbles each of us when we read testimonials like this and gives us the motivation to work even harder for these families.”

The foundation was established by the family of Navy SEAL Charles Humphrey Keating IV who lost his life in Iraq on May 3, 2016 helping his fellow teammates. “Charles H Keating IV – USN” will be proudly displayed on the nameplate on Costner’s #93 Chevrolet.

“I am beyond honored and humbled to pay tribute to an American hero, Charles Keating IV, and to represent the C4 Foundation. The work the foundation does for our Navy SEALs and their families is amazing. To get an opportunity to promote the C4 Foundation in Charles Keating’s memory in a setting such as Charlotte Motor Speedway on Memorial Day weekend is incredible.” Costner added.

Dave Hansen, Director of Ranch Operations for the foundation and a retired Navy SEAL commented, “What a blessing it is for our foundation to have people like Caleb and his crew reach out to partner with us. Charlie would have been fired up to be riding shotgun with Caleb. We are proud to know his name rides along with Caleb on Memorial Day weekend.”
