Following an impressive debut at Iowa Speedway in June, Chico, Texas, native and Active Duty Marine Corps member Christopher Tate has had the Reese’s 150 at Kansas Speedway circled on his calendar as his next ARCA Menards Series start.
“I feel good” said Christopher. “I’ve been talking non-stop to Chris [Vanscoy], my crew chief, since we left Iowa just trying to gather information and knowledge to be on the top of my game for Kansas.”
Tate will be looking to improve upon a 10th place finish when he gets back behind the wheel of the No. 10 car.
“Being able to race at Kansas is going to be huge for me in my racing development,” Tate said. “With the multi-groove racing and learning to set up passes, it’s going to be a great learning experience for these big tracks. To Say I’m excited for this is an understatement.”
One of the reasons Tate hasn’t been back behind the wheel since Iowa is due to a rank promotion in his Military duties.
“Right after Iowa, I got promoted to Corporal, so that was extremely exciting to come back to,” Tate said. “Being able to lead at a higher level within the Marine Corps has been a new and welcoming experience”
Tate’s longtime partner T Top Manufacturing will serve as his primary sponsor when he makes his intermediate debut.
“They’ve supported me from the start all the way back to when I was on dirt bikes, all the way until now,” Tate said.
Additional partners Cash Customs, Chris Hubka Realty, Wheelers Painting & More, and brand new partner Asphalt Media have come on board to round out their sponsorship lineup.
Fans can catch the action from Kansas Speedway on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast LIVE on FS1, MRN and with timing and scoring on arcaracing.com.
