KLAS Motorsports planning to expand to second car during 2025 season

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – The KLAS Motorsports team is a proven upstart in the ARCA Menards Series.

After two partial schedule seasons of competition, driver Andy Jankowiak was in a position to contend for the victory in the team’s final event of 2024 at Kansas Speedway. In 21 races entered over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, the No. 73 team has collected 13 top-10 finishes.

Now, the Statesville, North Carolina, based team headed by entrepreneur Kevin Lapierre and managing partner Andy Seuss is looking to expand for the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season.

Starting with January’s pre-season test at Daytona International Speedway and continuing with the February 15, 2025 season opener at the same track, KLAS Motorsports plans to add a second team. Drivers and marketing partners will be considered by team leadership in the upcoming weeks.  A car number is yet to be determined.

“We are excited to continue growing KLAS Motorsports,” said Seuss. “We are ready to add a second team and second driver as well as to continue racing with Andy J(ankowiak).  Adding another team will grow our racing program. We will have more feedback and a drafting partner on the superspeedways.  We want to be able to run one and two at Daytona and when it comes down to the final laps there, having a drafting partner is priceless.”

Opportunities are available for potential drivers including testing at Daytona with assistance in becoming ARCA superspeedway certified to a full package involving testing and a competitive entry in the Daytona race.

The KLAS Motorsports expansion is planned for beyond the Daytona race as well.  Opportunities for ARCA Menards Series events throughout the 2025 season are available.

A lineup of marketing partners including Acacia Energy, Whelen Engineering, Dak’s Market, Sbarro, Mike Sells Golf Carts, Thermal Foams, Automotive Consultants of Ithaca and Florida Safety Systems is currently associated with the team.

The 2025 ARCA Menards Series season will be televised live on the Fox, FS1 and FS2 networks starting with Daytona, which will air live on Fox at Noon ET on February 15, 2025.  The series schedule will also be broadcast live on the Fox Sports App.
