London McKenzie joins CW Motorsports for the full 2025 ARCA Menards Series East season

DALLAS, N.C. — CW Motorsports is excited to announce that 2024 INEX Champion London McKenzie will partner with CW Motorsports for the full 2025 ARCA Menards Series East campaign piloting the No. 93 CW Motorsports Chevrolet.

McKenzie, an already accomplished up-and-coming driver, was crowned last season’s INEX Semi-Pro Asphalt National Champion, scoring an impressive 21 wins and 31 podium finishes in 51 starts. The 15-year-old Asheboro, North Carolina native began his racing career at just 8 years old racing Bandoleros before graduating to INEX Legend Cars at the age of 12 while also venturing into dirt racing in Micro Sprint cars at Millbridge Speedway.

“Without that experience, I don’t know if I could’ve won the National Championship last year in Legend Cars,” McKenzie said. “I’m super blessed and excited to have an opportunity like this, and I can’t wait to see what my talent can do behind the wheel of a CW Motorsports-prepared ARCA car.”

McKenzie’s success in a Legend Car will no doubt help him immeasurably, as he will be competing in longer races at complex racetracks during the East Series schedule.

“I believe my success in a Legend Car will help me to stay calm and make the right decision, especially when under pressure,” he said. “It’s no secret that when a driver gets up front racing for the lead, it can become very stressful and difficult to avoid mistakes. Although no one’s perfect, I truly believe after years of improving and eventually having the opportunity to lead in national races, it’s really helped me become a more relaxed and confident driver during stressful moments.

“Hopefully I can implement this, especially when going into my first races.”

The transition from a Legend Car to a full-size ARCA race car will no doubt be a learning experience, but one McKenzie feels confident he can master.

“I can’t put into words how excited I am to finally get a chance to experience something like this,” he said. “I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous about racing something that’s so drastically different in weight compared to a Legend Car. I know it’s going to be a new environment with tons of new challenges, but as long as I can keep my composure throughout the year, I believe we could achieve great things.”

Team owner Caleb Costner shared in McKenzie’s excitement and optimism about this season’s prospects.

“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome London to our team,” Costner said. “I have high expectations for our group this year to be even more competitive week in and week out. Adding London to our roster in the 93 shows the talent level we’re seeking to bring to the track.

“I’ve watched London develop over the last couple years, and he’s the real deal, a true wheelman. We’re honored to have him behind the wheel all season and watch how he will continue to improve as a driver.”

The East Series season begins Saturday, March 22 at Five Flags Speedway and tours eight tracks over the span of seven months.
