HARRISBURG, N.C. – After finishing seventh at Flat Rock Speedway in 2024, Blaine Donahue looks to continue his journey behind the wheel with his next big challenge, Rockingham Speedway
While the 19-year-old Donahue may only be making his second ARCA platform start, he brings a wealth of racing experience and pedigree with him. Not only is he the son of three-time Cup Series champion crew member and the current Big Machine Racing Xfinity Series Crew Chief Patrick Donahue, he works as a full-time crew member for Big Machine as well. He hopes his knowledge inside and out of the racecar will parlay into a successful run at “The Rock” on April 19.
“I’m ecstatic to be a part of the return of The Rock,” Donahue said. “The track has had its doors closed for a few years and I can’t wait to see all the fans fill the stands of this historic racetrack! I’ve worked for months to prepare myself for this race and am thankful for all the opportunity and support to get back into the racecar! Looking forward to getting on track and rip around The Rock.”
“Having worked with Patrick for many years, it feels great to be able to help his son Blaine move forward in his driving career. Another top 10 run will be great for us at Fast Track,” said team owner and former Rockingham Speedway Principal Andy Hillenburg.
As part of his return to the driver’s seat, Blaine has extended his partnership with PALM Charter School and will continue to serve as a brand ambassador throughout the season.
Filling out the No. 9 Team’s Key Personnel will be crew Chief Mike Sroufe and Spotter John Szulczewski.
With the addition of Blaine to the lineup, Fast Track looks to continue the trend of adding exciting, talented and up and coming drivers for the 2025 Season. The ARCA Menards Series East event at Rockingham goes live on FloRacing, Saturday April 19 at 1:00 p.m. ET, with live timing and scoring on arcaracing.com
