HARRISBURG, N.C. – Bryce Haugeberg kicked off the season with a bang at this year’s Ride the ‘Dente 200. Remaining with the lead pack, scoring a top 10 finish and even leading his first career laps, its’ safe to say he is itching to run it back at Talladega.
“Leading the field to Green for the first time at a place like Daytona is a memory I will never forget,” said an ecstatic Haugeberg. “We are getting more competitive, especially on the plate tracks, and it is so exciting to see how much Fast Track and I have improved.”
“Every time we run together, Bryce continues to grow and develop into a great race car driver,” said Crew Chief Chris Vanscoy, who will be atop the box once again. “This’ll be our third plate race together, so I’m hoping that’s the lucky charm to put that beautiful NDSU car into Victory Lane. He learned a lot that he can carry into Talladega from when he was mixing it up with the big dogs.”
The West Fargo, North Dakota, driver will once again pilot the Fan Favorite “Bison-Mobile” North Dakota State University colors. This time out, he will ride in the No. 11, where he will proudly be representing his home state, and his current University with associate sponsorship from longtime partner BRENCO.
Balancing his education as a Junior Engineering student at NDSU with his racing career has meant Haugeberg only gets a handful of chances a year to flex his muscle, and he hasn’t wasted his opportunities. Haugeberg’s laps led are the first by a Fast Track Racing car since Jon Garrett at Pocono in 2023, a sign of improved performance by driver and by the team in recent years.

“Managing my racing career and being a full-time student from North Dakota has been a really big challenge. Add to that a job, managing this lifestyle has shaped me into who I am, and helped me grow as a person to prioritize my life decisions. The lessons I’ve learned is maximizing the opportunities that land in front of me and giving it all I have.”
“Bryce has come a long way as a driver recently,” said Team Owner Andy Hillenburg. “With how little he can run with his school schedule it’s great to see these leaps and bounds. I’m looking forward to expanding his schedule in the future.”
In addition to his return at Talladega, Bryce will make his yearly start at the closest track to home, Elko Speedway. With any additional starts pending on sponsorship and on his primary job as a student at NDSU, Haugeberg wants to continue maximizing the chances he’s got to run well.
The ARCA Menards Series General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway takes place on April 26 and will be televised live on FS1 at 12:30 p.m. ET. The race will also be broadcast on select affiliates of the MRN Radio network nationwide and on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio Channel 90. Live timing and scoring data is available at ARCARacing.com.
