PIT BOX: Showdown at Michigan International Speedway up next for ARCA Menards Series teams

One of the most popular stops on the ARCA Menards Series schedule, Michigan International Speedway, is up next for drivers and teams as the season begins to kick into high gear this Friday evening with the running of the Henry Ford Health 200 (5 p.m. ET on FS2).

First appearing on the ARCA Menards Series schedule in 1980, Michigan this week will host the series for the 44th time. Joe Ruttman scored the first of his three ARCA victories in the inaugural series event at the two-mile oval 45 years ago.

Other ARCA winners at the popular venue located in Brooklyn, Michigan through the years include Tracy Leslie, Bob Keselowski, Jeff Purvis, Tim Steele, Frank Kimmel, Kerry Earnhardt, Justin Lofton, Parker Kligerman, Ty Dillon, Chris Buescher, Austin Theirault, Brandon Jones, Sheldon Creed, Ty Gibbs, Nick Sanchez, Jesse Love and the most recent winner, Connor Zilisch.

Tickets to Friday’s Henry Ford Health 200 are available here. Below is everything you need to know ahead of Friday’s race, the sixth event of the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season.

22 Mis Henry Ford Health 200 4c (4)If there is one thing Lavar Scott has figured out in his second full season of ARCA Menards Series competition, it’s consistency.

Scott, who enters Friday’s Henry Ford Health 200 as the ARCA Menards Series championship points leader, has easily been the most consistent driver in the ARCA garage through five races in 2025. His four top fives and five top 10s are better than any other driver who has contested every race this season, and his 4.6 average finish is nearly a full three positions better than the next driver.

However, what Scott continues to lack on his ARCA Menards Series résumé is a victory. The driver of the No. 6 Chevrolet for Rev Racing will attempt to cross a win off his wish list Friday, but he’ll face ample challenges from a number of competitors.

Chief among them will be Brenden “Butterbean” Queen, who already has two ARCA wins this season at Daytona International Speedway and Kansas Speedway. The pilot of PRG’s No. 28 Chevrolet had a rough race in his most recent outing at Charlotte Motor Speedway and will look to rebound with a win at Michigan.

Joe Gibbs Racing, which has one win so far this year in the ARCA Menards Series with driver Brent Crews, will have Gio Ruggiero in the No. 18 Toyota for his first start of the 2025 campaign. Ruggiero, who has one East Series win to his credit, is in the midst of his first full NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season with TRICON Garage.

Venturini Motorsports will bring three entries to Michigan, with full timers Lawless Alan and Isabella Robusto joined by Jake Finch. Tyler Reif will make his first speedway start in the No. 23 for Sigma Performance Services, and Andy Jankowiak continues his impressive start to the 2025 season aboard the No. 73 for KLAS Motorsports.

Two drivers, both from Mexico, will make their ARCA Menards Series debuts Friday at Michigan. The first is Rev Racing’s Eloy Falcon, who scored an impressive third-place finish in his ARCA Menards Series East debut at Rockingham Speedway earlier this year. The other is Regina Sirvent, who is scheduled to make the first of a handful of starts driving for Kimmel Racing in the No. 68 Ford.

Other notable entries include Thad Moffitt, Caleb Costner, Ryan Roulette, Jason Kitzmiller and Brayton Laster, among others. The full entry list for Friday’s Henry Ford Health 200 is available here.
