PIT BOX: High stakes await West Series competitors inside The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

With the city of Las Vegas long known for gambling, it’s only fitting The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway one again serves as the penultimate event on the ARCA Menards Series West schedule.

Having existed long before the construction of the much larger intermediate track next door, The Bullring has tested many of the best competitors on the West Coast. Not only have drivers like Ron Hornaday Jr. and Rick Carelli won at The Bullring, but the complex served as a proving ground for Kurt and Kyle Busch.

Hornaday was the victor in the West Series’ inaugural trip to The Bullring in 1994, when he led a race-high 146 laps from the pole. Since then, The Bullring has made periodic appearances on the West Series calendar, with Saturday marking the venue’s official return following a one-year hiatus.

The fight for the West Series championship remains relatively close going into The Bullring, but the presence of several teams from the national ARCA Menards Series presents an obstacle for the contenders. With plenty on the line Saturday, the on-track action is expected to be intense as drivers battle for one of two remaining shots at a win in 2025.

Tickets to the Star Nursery 150 at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway can be purchased here. Below is everything to know ahead of the 11th race of the 2025 ARCA Menards Series West season.

ARCA Menards Series West veteran Trevor Huddleston is only two races away from potentially securing his first championship on the platform.

The 2025 season has been the best for Huddleston in the West Series to date. His triumph in the most recent West Series outing at Madera Speedway gave him his most wins in a single season with three, all while Huddleston has tallied career highs in top fives with nine and an impressive average finish of 3.9.

Kyle Keller is Huddleston’s only realistic opposition in the West Series championship, as he enters The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway trailing by 18 points. Like Huddleston, Keller has enjoyed a career year in the West Series, which includes a breakthrough victory at Tri-City Raceway in August.

Both Huddleston and Keller will have to deal with plenty other talented competitors if they wish to make progress in the West Series championship hunt. Among the teams descending upon Las Vegas for the Star Nursery 150 is Venturini Motorsports, which will participate in the team’s final race as a program after four decades of operation.

Comprising Venturini’s driver roster for their farewell event is Thomas Annunziata, Jade Avedisian and Taylor Reimer.

Two-time NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series champion Connor Hall is set to make his West Series debut at The Bullring piloting the No. 24 for Sigma Performance Services. Hall is no stranger to the ARCA Menards Series platform, as he previously competed in seven races between the national platform and ARCA Menards Series East.

Other drivers set to compete at The Bullring include Spencer Gallagher, Andrew Chapman, Nick Joanides, Bryce Haugeberg and Michael Maples, among others.

The complete entry list for the Star Nursery 150 will be released later this week.
