Leland Honeyman to compete in select ARCA events for Nitro Motorsports

CONCORD, N.C. — Nitro Motorsports announced today that Leland Honeyman will compete in a strategic, select-race ARCA Menards Series program during the 2026 season as part of the team’s broader competitive plans.

Honeyman will pilot the No. 15 Toyota Camry in targeted events designed to maximize performance, development, and long-term opportunity.

The focused schedule reflects a collaborative approach between Honeyman and Nitro Motorsports as the organization continues to build toward sustained success in 2026 and beyond. Honeyman remains a key part of Nitro Motorsports’ driver lineup and long-term vision.

“This is about being intentional with our opportunities and putting ourselves in the best position to win,” said Honeyman. “My goal has always been to compete full-time at the highest level, and this approach allows me to pour everything into each race I enter. I’m excited to make the most of every start in the No. 15 and continue proving what I’m capable of.”

Nitro Motorsports leadership echoed that sentiment, emphasizing Honeyman’s continued role within the organization.

“Leland has shown tremendous work ethic, maturity, and commitment,” said team owner Nick Tucker. “This focused program allows us to align resources, sharpen our competitive efforts, and give Leland the platform to deliver strong results. He remains an important part of our future, and we believe this approach sets everyone up for success.”

Nitro Motorsports also confirmed that a new full-time ARCA Menards Series driver will be announced soon to the team’s 2026 full-season lineup.
