Central Coast Racing signs Kenna Mitchell for three races in 2026 in preparation for a full 2027 Season

Central Coast Racing is proud to announce that late model driver Kenna Mitchell will join the team on a part-time basis for select races during the 2026 ARCA Menards Series West season.

Kenna has already demonstrated her talent in various late model series, becoming the first woman to win a CARS Tour West event with her victory at Kern Raceway this year, along with capturing the 2025 NASCAR Weekly Series championship at All American Speedway and the 2025 California State Championship.

She is considered a “trailblazer” in the sport after receiving the 2025 Wendell Scott Trailblazer Award for her determination and selfless mindset both on and off the track. She now looks to build on her racing success by venturing into the ARCA Menards Series West with Central Coast Racing.

Her first three races with the team at Shasta, Roseville, and Madera will provide her valuable seat time in the No. 13 CCR Toyota Camry. Central Coast Racing’s driver development program is going to play a vital role in helping her learn the ropes as she prepares for the 2027 ARCA Menards Series West season.

Central Coast Racing has a strong track record of preparing drivers for their next step in their NASCAR careers, including Tyler Reif, who advanced to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Niece Motorsports after delivering CCR’s championship-winning season in 2024.

This historic opportunity marks Kenna as the third woman to get behind the wheel of the No. 13 car, placing her alongside rising drivers such as Jade Avedisian and Taylor Reimer. Kenna is enthusiastic about joining the team, saying she is “Beyond excited for this opportunity to run with Central Coast Racing and see what we can accomplish together!”

With Kenna behind the wheel of the No. 13, Central Coast Racing hopes to help lead the way for future female drivers in NASCAR and inspire young fans to chase their motorsports dreams.
