After more than two months off, the ARCA Menards Series East is back in action alongside the stars and cars of the ARCA Menards Series for the LiUNA! 150 presented by IDEAL Door at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday evening (5:30 p.m. ET on FS1).
Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, or Lucas Oil IRP for short, first hosted the ARCA Menards Series in 1971 in a race won by two-time ARCA champion Ramo Stott. ARCA continued to host events at Lucas Oil IRP sporadically in the 1970s and 1980s, with competitors such as Ralph Latham, Bruce Gould, Marvin Smith and Bob Schacht securing wins.
ARCA returned to Lucas Oil IRP in 2011 following a two-decade absence and has continued to visit the venue regularly since. Winners during that time include Ty Dillon, Frank Kimmel, Brandon Jones, Chase Briscoe, Christian Eckes, Chandler Smith, Jesse Love, Connor Zilisch and Brent Crews, the most recent driver to visit Victory Lane at Lucas Oil IRP. Since 2023, the annual ARCA event has also served as a combination race with the ARCA Menards Series East.

LiUNA! 150 presented by IDEAL Door at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park
The battle for the ARCA Menards Series championship between Nitro Motorsports teammates Jake Bollman and Thomas Annunziata continues to tighten amid the dog days of summer.
Following Annunziata’s victory in the most recent ARCA Menards Series event at Lime Rock Park two weeks ago, the margin between him and points leader Bollman is down to just eight points with eight races left in the 2026 season.
Both men have shown prowess on short tracks this year, though Annunziata has been the one turning heads of late after he earned the Sioux Chief PowerPEX Pole Award at both Berlin Raceway and Elko Speedway. In those two events, Annunziata and Bollman earned the same point totals, effectively making those races a draw in terms of the season-long championship.
The question entering Friday’s LiUNA! 150 presented by IDEAL Door is whether Annunziata can continue making gains on Bollman at one of ARCA’s most challenging venues.
Not to be forgotten is the battle for the ARCA Menards Series East title. Tristan McKee and Pinnacle Racing Group enter Friday’s race with a 20-point advantage on Joe Gibbs Racing’s Max Reaves in the fight for the East Series crown. Both will be serious threats to win on Friday night.
In addition to Annunziata and Bollman, Nitro Motorsports will also field entries for Isabella Robusto, Gavan Boschele and Ashton Higgins, who is making his first ARCA Menards Series start since 2022. Watkins Glen winner and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular Kaden Honeycutt returns to ARCA competition with Cook Racing Technologies and Dystany Spurlock is also back in Carl Long’s No. 66.
Other notable entries for Friday’s event include Carson Brown, Hunter Wright, Ryan Vargas, Bryce Applegate, Andrew Patterson, Landon Brown, Isaac Kitzmiller, Jackson McLerran, Quinn Davis, Brayton Laster and Jason Kitzmiller.
The full entry list for Friday’s race will be available later this week.
