PIT BOX: West Series competitors return to action at All American following extended break

Nearly a month has passed since the most recent ARCA Menards Series West event at Portland International Raceway, which saw Mason Massey prevail in a final lap thriller for his second win of 2026.

West Series competitors will finally return to action this weekend at All American Speedway in Roseville, California for the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame. A long-time staple on the calendar, All American will host its 28th West Series race Saturday.

Originally a quarter-mile dirt oval before being converted into a 0.333-mile asphalt track, All American leaves little margin of error for drivers to utilize. Yet many notable names have conquered All American’s confined layout over the years, including Eric Holmes, Jason Bowles and Kaden Honeycutt, to name a few.

All American’s placement on the schedule presents a unique predicament for the West Series title contenders, as there will be another two-week break following Saturday’s event. It is going to be imperative for competitors to leave All American with momentum so they are prepared for a busy stretch to close out 2026.

Tickets to Saturday’s race can be purchased here. Below is everything to know ahead of the ninth event of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series West season.

Last year’s ARCA Menards Series West event at All American Speedway saw Robbie Kennealy pick up an emotional first career victory.

Kennealy had suddenly lost his father Gary, an instrumental figure in his racing career, the year before and ended up dedicating the triumph to him. Currently third in the West Series standings with four top fives on the year, Kennealy looks to defend his win from All American last year as he tries to make a push for the title.

The driver sitting atop the West Series standings is reigning champion Trevor Huddleston, who holds an 18-point advantage over Mason Massey. Huddleston has won twice so far this year and is eyeing another checkered flag at All American, a track he previously prevailed at during the 2024 season.

Kenna Mitchell, the 2025 winner of NASCAR’s Wendell Scott Trailblazer Award, is back with the West Series this weekend in the No. 13 Sinister Diesel/Berco Building Materials Ford for Central Coast Racing. Mitchell made her West Series debut with the program at Shasta Speedway in May, when she scored a lead-lap finish of eighth.

The complete entry list for the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame will be released later this week.
