MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Alpha Prime Racing will launch an ARCA Menards Series program in 2027 utilizing the Ford Mustang platform, expanding APR’s long-term competition and development strategy.
The ARCA program will complement Alpha Prime Racing’s multi-car NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series effort and provide another platform to develop drivers and team personnel, create opportunities for commercial partners and build additional capability throughout the organization.
APR’s driver lineup, partners, competition schedule, technical suppliers and team personnel will be announced separately as plans are finalized.
“We have been deliberate about building the next phase of Alpha Prime Racing in a way that is competitive and sustainable,” said Jusan Hamilton, President of Alpha Prime Racing. “ARCA gives us another meaningful platform to develop people, serve partners and create a clearer pathway within our organization. It is a natural extension of the direction we have established, and we are excited to build it the right way.”
Alpha Prime Racing Owner Caesar Bacarella said the program reflects ownership’s continued investment in the organization’s future.
“We want Alpha Prime Racing to keep growing,” Bacarella said. “Adding ARCA keeps us building and gives us new ways to grow and re-invest into the team. We know this is going to be a great series for us.”
For team founder Tommy Joe Martins, the ARCA platform also expands APR’s ability to give emerging talent meaningful experience inside a national racing organization.
“Development has always been part of who we are,” Martins said. “And that’s drivers, mechanics, engineers or administration – we like giving new people a chance. And ARCA, for us, will be the place where they can learn, compete and prove they are ready for the next opportunity. It’s a refocusing on Alpha Prime’s future.”
