Justin Lofton broke onto the ARCA RE/MAX Series scene in an ESR Prepared Dodge in 2008, and turned heads by earning two Sim Factory Pole Awards, and winning at Michigan international Speedway in June.
His future seemed uncertain as the season came to an end, and then in a surprise announcement at the ARCA RE/MAX Series Banquet press conference, Eddie Sharp announced that Lofton would be back for a second season in the #20.

Or not.
At the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show (PRI) less than a week later, Lofton indicated that he had put together a program to drive in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Then, he shows up at the ARCA Test at Daytona, and is overhead talking to ESR Team Owner Eddie Sharp about running some RE/MAX Series races when his Truck schedule allows…
Then…on Saturday morning of the test, he is seen in the garage area talking to Bill and Billy Venturini, and the rumor is that he might run some RE/MAX races, and maybe some NASCAR Nationwide races…with Venturini Motorsports!
What’s Up?
