ARCA RE/MAX Series Gets Continual Coverage, Ratings Too

(DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - February 11, 2011) - Frank Kimmel and the No. 44 Ansell/Menards Ford finished 21st of 47 cars in practice yesterday afternoon with a speed of 183.284 mph. Kimmel briefly reflected on the session after its conclusion.

How did your practice session go? "We didn’t practice as well as I had hoped…..we just didn’t find all the speed we need. In the draft we’re fine but on one lap runs were not as good.”

Is there anything you can pinpoint that could provide that needed speed? "It’s a bunch of small things.  There’s nothing wrong with our Ford, however we do need to make a few adjustments before qualifying tomorrow. The Ansell-Menards crew is working hard and I’m confident that we’ll have a great car for the race.”

How was the repaved Daytona International Speedway? "Unbelievably smooth and it makes the car feel really good.  You can move around and run any groove with little resistance. Should provide a great race on Saturday.”
