(MOORESVILLE, N.C. - November 11, 2011) - John Corr, owner of the Empire Racing No. 82 Ford Fusion driven by Sean Corr, issued the “Empire Challenge” today to the entire ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards family. The challenge, a brainchild of John and Sean Corr, was created to help raise the much-needed funds for David and Stasia Giles through their Redline Racing Ministry.

Redline Racing Ministry serves the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards as chaplains, with the Giles’ filling the role for the past year and a half. Their travel, overall ministry and salary depend upon donations from individuals, corporations and the teams within the series.

Empire Racing’s “Empire Challenge” is a simple “match contribution” style donation, where the team will match every dollar donated to Redline Racing Ministry, up to $5,000, by the 2011 ARCA championship banquet. The banquet, held in Covington, Kentucky Saturday, December 10th kicks off early that morning with the Redline Silent Auction from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Precluding the day’s silent auction will be a 30-minute live auction from 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm. All money raised from mailed donations and the auctions, will go towards the “Empire Challenge,” with all proceeds being directly donated to Redline Racing Ministry.

Money raised, will be used to remove the deficit the Giles’ accumulated from travel expenses during the 2011 season and to help them get ramped up for the ministry during the 2012 ARCA season.

To partake in the “Empire Challenge” and donate to Redline Racing Ministry, please send a check with “ARCA-Empire Challenge” on the memo line to Master’s Men, PO Box 797363 Dallas, TX 75379.
