Rookies and veterans test at Talladega Thursday

(TALLADEGA, Ala. - January 31, 2013) - The countdown to Daytona was in the fast lane Thursday with four ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards teams testing at Talladega Superspeedway.

Two ARCA veterans and two rookies turned laps on the renowned 2.66-mile superspeedway in preparation for the season-opening 50th Anniversary Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real at Daytona Int'l Speedway coming February 16.

Frank Kimmel, in the No. 44 Ansell-Menards Toyota, and Tom Hessert, in the No. 77 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge, are the two veterans in the line-up. Rookies on site include Chad Boat, in the No. 52 Ken Schrader Racing Chevrolet and Matt Kurzejewski in a Keselowski-prepared Dodge.

The Talladega stop for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is May 3.
