Between today and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards’ Lucas Oil 200 Presented by MAVTV America Real at Daytona International Speedway, is looking back at last year’s season and ahead to this year. Today, we look at Darrell Basham:

Marcum Award winner Darrell Basham just missed a top 10 finish in the final 2012 ARCA Racing series presented by Menards point standings.

Basham entered all 19 series events and finished 11th. He made his 300th career ARCA start at Lucas Oil Raceway and had a season-best 14the place finish at Winchester.

Basham’s ARCA Racing Series career dates back to 1972, Since then, he has amassed 306 career starts with a career-best driver points finish of seventh in 1976.

Basham was presented with the Marcum Award at the post-season banquet.
