Truck Series Announces Date, Location for Banquet

(MILLERSPORT, Ohio - November 25, 2012) - The ARCA Truck Series recently announced a new date for its awards banquet to celebrate the 2012 season - January 19, 2013.

The Phoenix Management Group of Ohio, LLC, is now pleased to announce that the Grand Plaza Hotel in downtown Toledo, Ohio will be the destination to honor 2012 champion Levi Mansfield (pictured) and the rest of the ARCA Truck Series family.

"We feel we are a professional racing series and we feel our participants deserve the best we can give them," said Tom Cumbow, ARCA Truck Series general manager. "We always strive to do better and we feel with the great working relationship we have already established with the fine folks at the Grand Plaza in downtown Toledo, there will be no doubt this is most assuredly a definite step up!"

The Grand Plaza, on the Maumee riverfront in downtown Toledo, is located at 444 North Summit.

The ARCA Truck Series Banquet is slated to begin with a social hour between 5:30-6:30 p.m. The banquet itself "takes the green" at 6:30 p.m. The banquet will be a coat and tie event, so guests are asked to dress accordingly. Dinner will be included in the price of the ticket. Additionally, the open bar will be available from 5:30-11:30 p.m. and is sponsored by Gearhart Timber Management and Kirsch Motorsports. Ticket orders must be received by Friday, January 4, 2013. No tickets will be sold the night of the event.

Rooms at the Grand Plaza are available for a discounted rate of $89 by calling the Grand Plaza Hotel at (419) 241-1411 and asking for the ARCA Truck Series group rate. Reservations must be made by December 31, 2012 for this rate.
