All new and improved on the way

(TOLEDO, Ohio – March 10, 2014) – An all new and improved is on the way, officials from the Automobile Racing Club of America announced today.

The new site, scheduled to go live Wednesday afternoon, March 12, marks the seventh different website design for the ARCA sanction since first launched in 1997.

“ has always been the web source for accurate, timely and responsible information,” said ARCA President Ron Drager. “The evolution of technology and our relationship with our digital services provider, ACME Branding Company, has allowed ARCA to take a significant stride forward with regard to digital technology within our sport. We are constantly striving to achieve the greatest possible experience for our fans, teams, drivers and sponsors.”

The new site, designed to be as user-friendly on mobile devices and tablets as it will continue to be on desktop and laptop computers, will incorporate a wide variety of enhanced, interactive elements.

“The enhancements and increased interactive elements that are part of the new infrastructure make it easier and user-friendly for ARCA members to engage in communication where the conversation takes place for all things ARCA,” added Drager.

Users will have access to exclusive, never before available ARCA content from the latest news stories, photos and video, and be able to comment on a variety of categories. Additions to the interactive elements also include the ability for users to help drive homepage content from trending drivers to the most popular photos and video.

Users will also have access to a new and improved version of live timing and scoring at all ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards events.

The site was designed and built by ACME Branding Company, ARCA’s digital services provider since 2008. ACME first introduced ARCA’s digital audience to live timing and scoring.

“ARCA has given us the opportunity to bring capabilities to the team, driver, sponsor and fan that will truly enhance both their website experience, and their at track experience,” said ACME CEO Steven Volpp.

“So what does this all mean? Here are just a few examples. If a practice gets rained out and all times for all of the rest of the weekends activities are moved, anyone who simply subscribed once to the event schedule on will be notified directly to their personal calendars on their computers or personal devices, which ever they select. Onsite check-in at tracks and sponsor promotion locations will reward the fans with unprecedented prizes, and provide sponsors with information unequaled in racing. Every driver wants ARCA’s front page to be about them. So now the driver that is getting the most attention every week is automatically given space on the front page. Every driver has the same opportunity at the same space. The features of the new website are not available from NASCAR, Indy Car or even Formula One. This new site truly positions ARCA’s digital platform as a leader in the racing marketplace."

I like the way it sizes up just right on your mobile device, smart phone, tablet and/or desktop. The front-end technology is smart, and, for those who manage it, so is the back-end.
