(TOLEDO, Ohio – April 7, 2015) – Fans of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards can begin now making their Fantasy League selections for the April 11 Troop Aid 200 from Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville.

The ARCA Racing Series Fantasy League debuted last month with the ARCA Mobile 200.The game is free for all arcaracing.com members. Members may choose five drivers (their “Team”) plus their favorite manufacturer and earn points based on race finish positions and special awards earned on track by their selected drivers.  Prizes will be awarded for each ARCA Racing Series Fantasy League event.

Bill Tybur of Arizona finished on top of the standings after the first week of the ARCA Racing Series Fantasy League. He received an ARCA fan gear prize pack (pictured), a value of $100. The winner of the Fantasy League will be announced in the days after the Troop Aid 200.

Members pick their Team of drivers based on each events race entry list which is updated daily on arcaracing.com as the race team entries are received by ARCA.  The member’s Team of drivers must be selected prior to the start of Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell for the respective event.

Fantasy game players can use driver biographies and previous race results which are all available on arcaracing.com for reference when building their Team of drivers for each race.  Because the Teams are not locked in until the start of qualifying, members playing ARCA Racing Series Fantasy League will want to tune-in to arcaracing.com during event practice sessions to check on your Team’s speeds and make any last minute Team adjustments.

On-track activities for the 24th Troop Aid 200 begin Saturday, April 11 with the first practice session from 12:15-1:00 p.m., followed by the second and final practice session from 1:45-2:30. Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell will take place at 4:15 Saturday afternoon. The Troop Aid 200 is set to start at 8 p.m.

Points for the game are awarded based on the finish position of each driver on your Team. For example, if a member chooses Brandon Jones as one of their five drivers and Jones wins the race, the member’s Team earns 40 points.  If Jones finishes second, the member’s Team earns 39 points and this continues through 40th finishing position earning the Team 1 point.

Drivers earning special awards such as the Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell, the Valvoline Lap Leader Award and the CGS Imaging Hard Charger Award will earn their Team five bonus points for each of these special awards.  In addition to selecting their five Team drivers, the arcaracing.com member playing the Fantasy game will have the opportunity to make their selection for the winning manufacturer of that event.  Each member selecting the winning manufacturer will earn an additional five bonus points for that event.  The ARCA Racing Series Fantasy League player’s overall score for an event will be the total points earned by all 5 drivers on their Team, plus any bonus points earned by their Team of drivers and manufacturer.
