Deadline for championship awards banquet today; get your tix now

TOLEDO, Ohio (Dec. 1, 2017) – You still have time to reserve your seats for this year's ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards National Championship Awards banquet. However, the deadline for securing tickets is today, Friday, Dec. 1. The 65th annual formal, black-tie affair will be held Saturday, Dec. 9 in downtown Indianapolis alongside the Performance Racing Industry’s annual convention and trade show.

The Championship Awards Banquet will honor the 2017 ARCA Racing Series champions as well as other top series drivers and special award winners. Car owner Ken Schrader and driver Austin Theriault earned the 2017 ARCA National Championship and will be among those honored at this year's banquet. Attendees will also enjoy a very nice sit-down dinner to be served at their tables.

The festivities will kick off with a hosted reception from 4 to 5:15 p.m., with the awards program scheduled to start promptly at 5:30.

Banquet attendees are encouraged to reserve hotel rooms as quickly as possible as area hotels are expected to be full with all of the events planned in Indianapolis that weekend, including the Performance Racing Industry annual trade show and convention.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards has crowned more than 30 national champions in 64 seasons since 1953, and has toured over 200 race tracks in 26 states since its inception.

The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is among the leading and most versatile auto racing sanctioning bodies in the country. Founded in 1953 by John and Mildred Marcum, the organization administers more than 100 events each year in multiple racing series, including the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the ARCA Midwest Tour, plus weekly racing at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways.
