Motorsports Safety Group continues support of ARCA Safety Initiative

TOLEDO, Ohio (Jan. 11, 2018) -- Officials from the Automobile Racing Club of America, the ARCA Safety Initiative presented by G-Force Racing Gear and the Motorsports Safety Group announced today that Motorsports Safety Group would continue their involvement with and support of the ARCA Safety Initiative in 2018.

Dr. Jason Cormier, founder of the Motorsports Safety Group, disclosed the continued support during the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship awards banquet in December.

“We’ll be back for 2018,” said Dr. Cormier during the Motorsports Safety Group Champions Bonus presentation to the Ken Schrader Racing team and driver Austin Theriault. “We’ve learned a lot in 2017, and can’t thank the ARCA community enough for welcoming us. I’m looking forward to working with everyone again in 2018, as a part of the ARCA Safety Initiative.”

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards 2018 season gets off to an unofficial start this weekend with the annual Daytona open test, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 12-13.

The season begins in earnest Saturday, Feb. 10 with the 55th running of the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire.

Motorsports Safety Group is the collaboration of forward thinking minds geared towards continuing efforts that serve to foster improvements in the safety of racing. The goals of Motorsports Safety Group embody the interests of the group and its partners, ensuring the safety and health of racing teams and their loyal following.

Dr. Cormier crafted this strategic partnership with the ARCA Safety Initiative Program to form a “Motorsports Healthcare Education Plan,” a high profile, interactive activation designed to reach millions of race fans throughout the country.
