Our Motorsports doubles-up at Talladega; adds veteran Williams

TALLADEGA, Ala. (April 26, 2018) -- Our Motorsports is doubled-up with two entries for the General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway.

In addition to Andy Seuss, who drove for Our Motorsports in the season-opener at Daytona, the team added ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards veteran Josh Williams to its line-up for Talladega.

Williams, a two-time ARCA Racing Series winner, has been a regular in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2018.

"I'm excited to compete at Talladega and have the opportunity to be part of the Our Motorsports family with Andy," said Williams. "It's  always  nice knowing you'll have a teammate at a restrictor-plate race."

Seuss, the NASCAR Whelen Modified standout, also sees value in having Williams on board.

"I think it's great for our program," said Seuss. "Josh is a veteran of the series and brings knowledge and experience. We're all looking forward to the weekend."

Williams' JW Motorsports team prepared the car that he will drive, while Seuss and his crew fine-tuned their entry out of their own Our Motorsports stable.

Team owner, Chris Our, feels like the alliance with Williams can only make his team stronger.

"I feel that taking what Andy has brought to the table and adding Josh and his team to the mix will just make us a stronger team overall," said Our. "We are all looking at this weekend as a step towards the next level in the series. I'm excited to see how everything unfolds."

For the first time, Seuss will finally have a teammate to work with; although it's every man for himself as the checkered flag draws near.

"Teammates are teammates until the last 150 yards," Seuss said. "But I'm going to try and win. And I fully expect my teammate to do the same."

Practice, qualifying and the race all take place Friday, April 27. ARCAracing.com will provide live timing, scoring and chat of all the on-track action. The General Tire 200 is live on FS1 Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern.

Great to have Josh Williams back for a race in the ARCA series.  Nice to see former winners and former full time competitors come back to the series that helped them get to where they are now.  Welcome back and good luck tomorrow.   If there happens to be an opening later in the year in your schedule say the weekends of Springfield & Du Quoin maybe you'd like to sling some dirt? :)
