"To James & Tweet's ARCA family"... a message from Evelyn Hylton

"To James & Tweet's ARCA family"... a message from Evelyn Hylton

Toledo marked the first race back for Brad Smith in the 48 car without his longtime car owner James Hylton at the helm. Hylton, and his son James, Jr., lost their lives in a highway accident coming home from Talladega in late April. Each car in Sunday's Menards 200 at Toledo Speedway carried a memorial sticker of James and James, Jr. on the C-panels.

To James and Tweet's "ARCA family":

Thank you all for everything.  They both so enjoyed your friendships, especially the Basham family. Thank you to Ron Drager for being so gracious to me. Please show your love every day, because there might not be a tomorrow.

Thank you Ron, Evelyn Hylton

Great tribute at Toledo to two men we were honored to know.

Thank you ARCA for the nice tribute at Toledo Speedway.  Going to the races for my family has been forever changed by the loss of our wonderful friends.  James and Tweet were very special to us and we will miss them dearly.  Please keep Evelyn and our other special friend Terry Strange in your prayers.

James "Pop Pop" & Tweet will forever hold a special place in my heart...I'm grateful to have been a part of that special ARCA family.

Still hard to believe that Harv is gone, but I know Brad will do him and his son proud.
