Travis Braden, No. 27 MatrixCare/Consonous/Liberty Village Ford Preview: Elko

RFMS Racing driver Travis Braden takes the track in the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 250 Presented by MatrixCare this Saturday night at Elko Speedway in Elko, Minnesota with the race televised LIVE on MavTV beginning at 9 p.m CST. Braden continues to progress after getting his sixth Top 10 finish at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa last Saturday.

"I'm really happy we were able to get our sixth Top 10 finish at the Fan's with Benefits 150 at Iowa Speedway. We ran up into the top 5 at times, and we just needed a tiny bit more speed to hang there. Everyone on this team is excited about our progress though, and that's making it a lot of fun to keep working and improving each week on the track. Being out here with these Top 10 drivers and teams is so much fun and it helps develop me as a driver," Braden said. "We are still in the Top 5 in driver's points and we've still got a realistic shot at a Top 3 by the end of the season. We have another chance to display this team's hard work and we're ready to see what is in store for us at the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 250 Presented by MatrixCare in Elko, Minnesota."

Though this will be his first full season in ARCA, Braden is no stranger to the racing world. Braden’s passion for the sport of racing runs as deep as the valleys of the Appalachian Mountains. Braden is a two-time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion, and is now looking forward to 2018, where he'll work hard to emerge as a driving force in the ARCA Racing Series and beyond.
