ARCA Has Record-Setting Year on Fox Sports Networks in 2018

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards registered an impressive upwards trend in viewership numbers on the Fox Sports networks in 2018. Viewership of ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards live telecasts on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 saw a twelve percent increase in 2018 over the previous season, breaking a viewership record that was set in 2014.

There were eight ARCA Racing Series races broadcast on the Fox Sports networks in 2018 compared to ten races in 2017. Five broadcasts were on FS1 and three were on FS2.

The highest rated broadcast of the season was the season opener at Daytona, which registered a 0.78 Nielsen household rating, averaging 878,000 viewers.

"ARCA had its best season ever on the Fox Sports networks," said FOX Sports spokesperson Erik Arneson. "ARCA broadcasts averaged 301,000 viewers in 2018, up twelve percent from ARCA's average in 2017 and up two percent from its previous best season in 2014."

The broadcasts on FS1 and FS2 averaged 301,000 viewers, up from 269,000 viewers in 2017. The five races on FS1 in 2018 averaged 426,000 viewers.

Over 2.3 million unique viewers watched ARCA Racing Series events on Fox Sports networks in 2018. (If we include re-airs that figure climbs to 3.4 million unique viewers)

The 2019 ARCA Racing Series season will begin on Fox Sports 1 at Daytona International Speedway on February 9. The live broadcast will begin at 4:30 pm ET. ARCARacing.com will have live timing & scoring and track updates from all series races in 2019, free for registered users.
