ARCA Teams Arrive in Daytona; Track Activity Starts Friday Morning

The garage area at Daytona International Speedway doesn't open until tomorrow morning, but the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards teams have moved in, parked their transporters and unloaded their racecars in preparation for the first on track activity of the 2019 season.

The first rig to pull into the ARCA garage area this season was the RFMS Racing team's (above), with driver Travis Braden standing by watching with pride as they took the honors.

This weekend's test session will include both single-car runs and drafting practice, with the track open from 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 5 pm ET on Friday and Saturday.

A total of 28 racecars are at the track so far, with a handful more on the way and expected in the morning. There are over 40 drivers that have unofficially registered to test leading up to next month's season opening Lucas Oil 200.

ARCA for Me members can follow along with live timing & scoring and live track updates on both days. You can register for free by visiting arcaracing.com/login.

The Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway is set for Saturday, February 9 and will be televised live on FS1 starting at 4:30 pm ET.

It would be nice if an entry list was posted before the event.
