As the 2011 UMP National Late Model Series champion, Ryan Unzicker is well known among the dirt late model ranks across America. Back home, Unzicker helps run the family business, RJR Transport, a longtime sponsor/supporter of Hendren Motor Sports, which is the ARCA team that Unzicker drives for each year at Springfield and DuQuoin. Unzicker had the local fans on their feet at both Springfield and DuQuoin in 2016, finishing a career-best 3rd at Springfield, followed up by a 5th-place finish at DuQuoin after leading 33 laps. Unzicker also finished a 6th at Springfield in 2003, in his first ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards attempt. He also finished 7th at DuQuoin in 2014, 8th at Springfield in 2015, 9th at DuQuoin in 2015 and earned a pair of 11th place finishes at Springfield and DuQuoin in 2013. Unzicker has 12 career ARCA Racing Series starts overall. He drives for longtime ARCA car owner Bill Hendren, and runs Springfield and DuQuoin annually.
