Alger made his ARCA Racing Series debut in the fall of 2014 at Salem, filling the seat of the third Wayne Peterson Racing entry. He started 29th and finished 28th in the #00 Great Railing Chevrolet.
For 2015, Alger has been working towards building his own team, which is looking to run #70 Chevrolets. He has been on the entry list at both New Jersey and Winchester, but did not race. Look for him to be making his second series start in the very near future.
Alger is also a veteran crew member. The 2011 season saw many starts for his team on the national level, with Tim Walter driving the ARCA car at Indianapolis, Madison, Salem, and Toldeo. He was also involved in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series #68 team that year, with drivers Clay Greenfield and Wayne Edwards.
