    Mason Mitchell earned the 2014 ARCA Racing Series driver and owner championship with his own first-year team – Mason Mitchell Motorsports. He’s also the first driver to win the championship from Iowa since Ron Hutcherson in 1974. Mason also finished 6th in ARCA driver points in 2013. In 50 career series starts since 2012, he has 3 wins at Chicagoland Speedway in 2014, his hometown Iowa Speedway in 2015 and at Kansas Speedway in 2015. Overall he has 24 top-5 finishes and 40 top-10s. He’s led 793 laps overall in 25 races and has 7 Menards Pole Awards presented by Ansell at Berlin ’13 & ‘14, Springfield ’13, Toledo ’14, Michigan ’14, Pocono ’14 and DuQuoin ’14. He also set new 1-lap track records at Toledo ’14, Berlin ’13 and Springfield ’13. He also has 9 runner-up finishes at Berlin ’15, Toledo ’14, Pocono ’14, Michigan ’14, Winchester ’14, Springfield ’14, Salem ’14, Kentucky ’13 and Kansas ’13. His other top-5 finishes are 3rd at Pocono ’15, 3rd at Mobile ’14, 3rd at Kentucky ’14, 4th at Talladega ’14, 4th at DuQuoin ’14, 5th at Kansas ’14, 5th at Pocono ’13, 5th at Winchester ’13, 5th at Berlin ’12 & ’13, 5th at Salem ’13, and 5th at Lucas Oil Raceway ’12. Mason Mitchell Motorsports also fielded an ARCA team for Austin Wayne Self in 2015, who finished second in championship driver standings. Self also earned his career-first win at Winchester in 2015 in a Mason Mitchill Motorsports car. Mason started his career on dirt bikes and progressed to Mini-Cup and ASA late model racing prior to his ARCA debut. Finished in the top-five in the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway in 2012.
