Officials from the Automobile Racing Club of America, the ARCA Safety Initiative presented by G-Force Racing Gear and Dr. Jason Cormier announced today that Motorsports Safety Group would continue their involvement with and support of the ARCA Safety Initiative in 2019.
“We have covered a lot of ground since our first involvement in 2017,” Commented Dr. Jason Cormier, Founder of Motorsports Safety Group. “We’ve learned a lot the last two years, and can’t thank the ARCA community enough for welcoming us. I’m looking forward to working with everyone again in 2019.”
The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards 2019 season kicks off this Saturday, Feb. 9 with the 56th running of the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire. But before the cars hit the track, Dr. Cormier and his team will address the ARCA community with the first scheduled driver safety seminar of the season on Thursday afternoon, immediately following the drivers meeting.
Motorsports Safety Group is the collaboration of forward thinking minds geared towards continuing efforts that serve to foster improvements in the safety of racing. The goals of Motorsports Safety Group embody the interests of the group and its partners, ensuring the safety and health of racing teams and their loyal following.
Dr. Cormier crafted this strategic partnership with the ARCA Safety Initiative Program to form a “Motorsports Healthcare Education Plan,” a high profile, interactive activation designed to reach millions of race fans throughout the country.
