The sun has broken through the clouds here at Salem Speedway, greatly helping the track drying efforts as we count down to the scheduled 2 pm ET start of the ARCA Menards Series Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200. Track and series safety vehicles have been circulating for the last 45 minutes to generate heat in the asphalt, but Mother Nature herself turned the heat on and brought the sunshine which has greatly helped the process. ARCA officials are still watching the weather radar closely as there is still a chance of inclement weather throughout the day.
