ARCA Menards Series champions visit Nashville for 2021 NASCAR Champion’s Week

In case the 2021 ARCA Menards Series championships for Ty Gibbs, Sammy Smith and Jesse Love did not feel real before, the feelings hit from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2, when all three participated in NASCAR Champion’s Week in Nashville, Tennessee.

Gibbs, Smith and Love — champions from the ARCA Menards Series, ARCA Menards Series East and ARCA Menards Series West, respectively — were among those invited to a celebration of NASCAR success this year.

The festivities began Tuesday night, when all three ARCA Menards champions attended the Nashville Predators’ home NHL game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, a 6-0 Preds win.

Gibbs waved a Preds towel ahead of the game to get the crowd fired up for the opening puck drop. Smith and Love sounded the arena’s alarm ahead of the third period.

The next morning, Gibbs Smith and Love posed with their ARCA Menards championship trophies in various Nashville locations. They began on the Rooftop Terrace of the Twelve Thirty Club and continued at the Ryman Auditorium.

The champions also posed for photos with their trophies standing on Broadway.

Wednesday night was the moment for which all three ARCA Menards champions had been waiting: the presentation of their championship rings.

All three drivers accepted their rings and posed for photos.

Gibbs had to dart after his ring presentation, as he was scheduled to participate in NASCAR Champion’s Week’s Burnouts on Broadway.

As was the case following most of his 12 victories on the ARCA Menards platform in 2021, Gibbs did not disappoint with his burnout on Broadway.

Smith and Love after Wednesday evening’s festivities left Nashville, as both were competing in that weekend’s 54th annual Snowball Derby at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida.

Gibbs stayed for one last celebration of his championship, as he attended the NASCAR Champion’s Banquet at the Music City Center.
