The oldest continuously operating race track in the United States, the Milwaukee Mile, welcomes back the ARCA Menards Series and the ARCA Menards Series East this Sunday for the running of the Sprecher 150.
The race serves as the 15th event of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series season and the sixth race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series East season. It also marks Round 8 of the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown.
The legendary one-mile asphalt oval located in West Allis, Wisconsin, has played host to 11 ARCA Menards Series races dating back to 1958, when Fred Lorenzen scored his first ARCA Menards Series victory. Other ARCA winners at the Milwaukee Mile through the years include Tony Bettenhausen, Rodger Ward, Dean Roper, Dave Weltmeyer, Frank Kimmel, Phil Bozell and Ty Gibbs.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
A pair of championship battles take center stage as the ARCA Menards Series and East Series head to the Milwaukee Mile this Sunday for the running of the Sprecher 150.
In the ARCA Menards Series, Rev Racing’s Nick Sanchez enters Sunday’s 150-lap event with a 13-point advantage on GMS Racing’s Daniel Dye and a 17-point advantage on Rev Racing teammate Rajah Caruth.
Meanwhile, in the East Series, Sammy Smith enters the Sprecher 150 with a 27-point lead on Taylor Gray. Sunday’s race at the Milwaukee Mile is the sixth of seven races on the East Series schedule, leaving Gray only two races to cut into Smith’s advantage.
All five drivers are among 27 competitors entered in Sunday’s race. Joining them are a number of contenders and rising stars, including Jake Finch, who is set for his second ARCA Menards Series start this season. Landon Pembelton, the 2021 winner of the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 Late Model Stock Car race at Martinsville Speedway, returns to Venturini Motorsports for his second series start.
Jesse Love, fresh off his victory on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds last Sunday, will look for his second straight ARCA Menards Series victory aboard the No. 20 Toyota for Venturini Motorsports.

Six women are scheduled to compete in the Sprecher 150. Leading the way are full-time ARCA Menards Series competitors Amber Balcaen and Toni Breidinger. They’re joined by Amber Slagle, Rita Thomason, Mandy Chick and Stephanie Moyer.
Matthew Gould, a winner in Late Model Stock Car competition this year at North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway, will make his ARCA Menards Series debut driving the No. 40 Chevrolet for team owner Al Niece.
Veteran Brad Smith is slated to make his 400th ARCA Menards Series start this Sunday. Also scheduled to compete are Christian Rose, Leland Honeyman and Greg Van Alst, among others.

CREW CHIEF HANDOUT: The starting field for the Sprecher 150 is limited to 25 plus provisional positions. This event will be run under the 2022 ARCA Menards Series rules, procedures, regulations and specifications.
QUALIFYING: By timed session. All cars must make a qualifying attempt, and all drivers must practice before they can qualify.
RACE PIT STOP: Break pit stop procedure. Breaks at or near the conclusion of Laps 50 and 100. All cars will be required to make at least one pit stop prior to last 10 laps of race. No adding or moving tires to or from pit box once race has started.
The maximum tire allotment available for this event is as follows: Per ARCA Rulebook, the maximum tire use at track (total, “from home” plus purchased at track) for the event is 16. Per ARCA Rulebook, maximum number of tires allowed in pit box for use in race is eight (8).
