WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Momentum is on the side of two drivers scheduled to compete in Friday’s ARCA Menards Series East General Tire 125 at Dover Motor Speedway.
The first is William Sawalich, who dominated the opening race of the East Series season last month at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Sawalich led all 200 laps of the Pensacola 200 to earn his first victory on the ARCA platform for Joe Gibbs Racing.
The other is Sean Hingorani, who is riding a two-race winning streak in ARCA Menards Series West competition. Hingorani won the second race of the season at Irwindale Speedway and followed that up with a triumph last Saturday night at Kern County Raceway Park.

Several other drivers will look to build their own momentum this weekend at the Monster Mile. Chief among them will be Luke Fenhaus, who finished a close second to Sawalich in the East Series opener at Five Flags Speedway. Landen Lewis, who finished second behind Hingorani at Kern County, will make his first East Series start of the year in the No. 17 for car owner Steve McGowan.
In addition to Hingorani, Venturini Motorsports will also field cars for Conner Jones, Jake Finch and Toni Breidinger. Lavar Scott will also be back in action aboard Rev Racing’s No. 6 Chevrolet.
