DALLAS, N.C. — Isaac Johnson will make his ARCA Menards Series debut in the No. 93 Costner Weaver Motorsports Chevrolet in the Reese’s 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, Aug. 11.
The 23-year-old driver began racing as a child in online simulator racing and has scored several wins across multiple series competing in kart racing, including the Kenyon Midget Series, dirt late models and, most recently, the Carolina Pro Late Model Series.
“I am absolutely nothing but excited about being able to make my ARCA debut,” Johnson said. “This is a milestone that I have wanted to check off in my racing career ever since I was a little kid.”

The Martinsville, Indiana native will be making his ARCA debut in his own backyard. Johnson’s first NASCAR race he ever saw was at IRP, which will make this race even more special for him.
“I’m also going to have a ton of friends, family and partners at the race, which is really exciting,” he said.
The primary sponsor on the hood of Johnson’s Chevrolet will be George E. Booth Company, who is also Johnson’s employer. Johnson, a mechanical engineer, works as a sales engineer for the company.
“I owe a lot to them for the development of my career on both fronts as a race car driver and an engineer in the process automation industry,” Johnson said. “Overall, I just can’t wait to get out there and gain some experience with Costner Weaver Motorsports. They are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the next few years, and I’m very excited to be a part of its beginnings.
“I want to be around this sport for a long time, and I think this was the perfect first step to making the dream of becoming a champion one day a reality.”
The Reese’s 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park will take place on Friday, Aug. 11 starting at at 6 p.m. ET with television coverage on FS1 and the Fox Sports App. The race can also be heard on MRN/SiriusXM (XM channel 391, online channel 981) and ARCARacing.com.
