Two consecutive trips to the Pacific Northwest await ARCA Menards Series West competitors, with the first being a visit to Tri-City Raceway in West Richland, Washington this weekend following a successful return to the facility last season.
When Tri-City opened in 1968, the track welcomed the West Series for a 100-lap race that was won by six-time champion Ray Elder. Tri-City continued to host West Series events over the next few decades until the facility ceased operations in 2004. It remained dormant for the subsequent 17 years.
Thanks to a diligent effort from current track promoter Greg Walden, Tri-City re-opened to the public in 2021, a development that brought the West Series back to the facility for the first time in more than two decades. Used for a variety of purposes, Tri-City boasts a thriving short-track scene that includes events like the Apple Cup and Fall Classic.
Tyler Reif last June became the first driver to win a West Series event at Tri-City since Jason Jefferson in 2003. A fresh group of West Series competitors are descending upon Tri-City on Saturday evening, all of whom are looking to write their own history at a facility with a promising future ahead.
Tickets to the NAPA Auto Care 150 at Tri-City Raceway can be purchased here. Below is everything to know ahead of the seventh race of the 2025 ARCA Menards Series West season.

Among those chasing a checkered flag at Tri-City Raceway on Saturday evening is Vancouver, Washington native and 19-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Greg Biffle.
Tri-City is where Biffle refined his craft as a competitor during his formative years; he won two track championships there in 1995-96. Biffle brought home a ninth-place finish in the West Series’ return to Tri-City last year and is seeking to improve upon that showing with Sigma Performance Services, the same team for which he drove in last year’s race.
If Biffle wishes to claim another Tri-City checkered flag, he will have to disrupt an ongoing West Series championship battle in which the top three are separated by just 15 points.
Leading the way is veteran Trevor Huddleston with two victories on his 2025 resume, both of which came at his home track of Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway.
Trailing Huddleston by 14 points in the West Series standings is Tanner Reif, who also found Victory Lane earlier this season at Tucson Speedway. Tanner did not compete in last season’s race at Tri-City but is looking to bring another trophy under the Reif family banner while simultaneously gaining ground on Huddleston in the points.
Kyle Keller is also within striking distance of Huddleston’s advantage, having amassed three runner-up finishes so far in 2025. Currently enjoying the best season of his West Series career, the young competitor heads to Tri-City determined to improve upon a career-best showing and cement himself as a title contender.
