PIT BOX: ARCA Menards Series keeps rolling through the Midwest with visit to Elko Speedway

Another Midwestern short track awaits the stars of the ARCA Menards Series as Elko Speedway hosts the Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy this Saturday night (8 p.m. CT / 9 p.m. ET on FS2).

Saturday’s race marks the 12th stop by the ARCA Menards Series at one of Minnesota’s most popular short tracks. The series first visited Elko in 2012, when Venturini Motorsports driver Brennan Poole earned one of his six ARCA Menards Series victories.

Other notable winners at the 3/8-mile asphalt oval include ARCA legend Frank Kimmel, Grant Enfinger, Austin Theriault, Gus Dean, Chandler Smith, Corey Heim, Sammy Smith, Jesse Love, William Sawalich and the most recent winner, Max Reaves.

Tickets to Saturday’s Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy are available here. Below is everything you need to know about the 10th race of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season.

Shore Lunch 200 Presented By Db FinalIn the short history of the ARCA Menards Series at Elko Speedway, there has never been a repeat winner.

Max Reaves, driver of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 Toyota, has a chance to change that Saturday night during the Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy.

Fresh off a victory one week ago at Michigan’s Berlin Raceway, Reaves returns to Elko Speedway as the defending event winner. One season ago, Reaves led 84 laps and bested eventual ARCA Menards Series champion Brenden “Butterbean” Queen to earn his first Elko Speedway triumph.

A stout field will be on hand to try and deny Reaves a repeat trip to Elko Speedway’s Victory Lane on Saturday night. Leading that charge is local driver Ty Fredrickson, who returns to ARCA competition one year after making his series debut at Elko with a fourth-place finish. Fredrickson is part of a four-car Nitro Motorsports contingent that also includes championship leader Jake Bollman, Thomas Annunziata and Isabella Robusto.

Landon S. Huffman, who competed in a pair of ARCA Menards Series East races earlier this year, will make his ARCA Menards Series debut driving the Pinnacle Racing Group No. 28 Chevrolet. He’ll be teamed with Taylor Reimer, who finished fourth last Saturday night at Berlin Raceway in the No. 77 Chevrolet.

Other notable entries for Saturday’s race include Jason Kitzmiller, Willie Mullins, Bryce Haugeberg, Takuma Koga, Bobby Earnhardt and Austin Vaughn, among others.

The full entry list for Saturday’s Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy will be available later this week.
