PIT BOX: For first time since 2019, the ARCA Menards Series is back at Chicagoland

For the first time since 2019, the ARCA Menards Series returns to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois this Friday night for the running of the Ashley Furniture 150 (8 p.m. ET on FS1).

The 11th race of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season doubles as the 20th visit by the ARCA Menards Series to Chicagoland. The series first visited Chicagoland in September of 2001, when Ed Berrier stormed from 34th to lead the final six laps and earn his only ARCA Menards Series victory.

In the years that followed, several familiar names found Victory Lane at Chicagoland. Among them are Frank Kimmel, Steve Wallace, Michael McDowell, Justin Lofton, Patrick Sheltra, Ty Dillon, Corey LaJoie, Mason Mitchell, Chase Briscoe, Christopher Bell and the most recent Chicagoland winner, Ty Majeski.

Tickets to Friday’s Ashley Furniture 150 are available here. Below is everything you need to know about the 11th race of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season.

2026 Chicago

With 10 races down and 10 races to go, the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season has officially reached the halfway point.

Through the first 10 events of the season, six different drivers have earned trips to Victory Lane. One of those who hasn’t found Victory Lane so far this year is Jake Bollman, the ARCA Menards Series championship points leader.

Despite not earning a win through the first 10 races of the year, Bollman has been in command of the ARCA Menards Series standings for most of the season. He’s secured seven top-five and nine top-10 finishes and has an average finish of 5.4 in the opening 10 races.

The pilot of the No. 20 Nitro Motorsports Toyota will look to add a win to his 2026 stat line Friday, but a large contingent of rivals are also looking to make their way to Victory Lane.

Leading the charge is William Sawalich, who will make his season debut with the ARCA Menards Series aboard the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18 Toyota. Sawalich, a 13-time ARCA Menards Series winner, has already won this season in NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series competition at Rockingham Speedway.

Landon S. Huffman, who looked like a potential winner in ARCA competition Saturday at Elko Speedway until a mechanical failure derailed his day, will make his intermediate track debut at Chicagoland aboard CR7 Motorsports’ No. 9 Chevrolet. He’ll race alongside series regular and fellow CR7 Motorsports driver Jason Kitzmiller on Friday night.

Lanie Buice, who has earned three top-five finishes so far this year, returns to Pinnacle Racing Group for her fourth start of the season in the No. 77 Chevrolet. She’ll be joined by Connor Mosack in the second Pinnacle Racing Group Chevrolet this weekend.

Other notable entrants for Friday’s event include Jade Avedisian, Daniel Dye, Gavan Boschele, Isabella Robusto, Thomas Annunziata, Andy Jankowiak and Kyle Steckly, among others.

The full entry list for Friday’s Ashley Furniture 150 will be available later this week.
