East Series championship points scenarios for Tristan McKee, Max Reaves and Isaac Kitzmiller at Bristol

The Bush’s Best 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, a combination race featuring both the ARCA Menards Series and the ARCA Menards Series East, once again marks the championship race for the East Series.

And given the gap (or lack thereof) between championship points leader Tristan McKee and second-place Max Reaves, Thursday evening’s race is sure to be a show fit for The Last Great Colosseum.

McKee, on the strength of four wins through seven East Series races thus far this season, holds a one-point lead over Reaves entering Thursday’s finale at Bristol. Those four wins give him what could be a crucial tiebreaker over Reaves, who’s won two East Series races this year.

Of course, should McKee and Reaves both falter, defending East Series champion Isaac Kitzmiller will be hoping to take advantage. He enters Thursday’s race 17 championship points out of the lead, easily within striking distance.

Below are all of the points scenarios for McKee, Reaves and Kitzmiller in all finish positions based on a projected 36-car field. Bonus points are awarded as follows: Three bonus points to the race winner; one bonus point to the Sioux Chief PowerPEX Pole winner; one bonus point to the driver who leads the most laps; one bonus point to any driver who leads a lap.

Notes:

  • McKee holds all tiebreakers thanks to his four East Series wins in 2026. (Reaves has two wins; Kizmiller has zero.)
  • Should Kitzmiller earn max points by qualifying on pole, leading the most laps and winning the race, he needs both McKee to finish 13th or worse and Reaves to finish 12th or worse.
  • If Kitzmiller finishes 19th or worse with no bonus points, he’ll have no chance to win the title.
  • If either McKee or Reaves wins the race, he will secure the championship.
  • If neither McKee nor Reaves scores any bonus points, Reaves must finish two positions ahead of McKee to win the championship.
