Gabriel Casagrande joins MCM Racing Development for ARCA Menards Series debut at Bristol Motor Speedway

Brazilian driver Gabriel Casagrande will compete in the Bush’s Best 200 this Thursday, September 17th after testing his car at Caraway Speedway.
A three-time NASCAR Brasil Series champion, Casagrande faces a new career challenge; the Bush’s Best 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, one of the most iconic ovals in motorsports. Casagrande conducted a test this week on Monday at Caraway in North Carolina and is optimistic about the 200-lap race driving for MCM Racing Development in the ARCA Menards Series. This NASCAR developmental series has served as a proving ground for NASCAR Cup Series champions such as Kyle Busch and Joey Logano.
Casagrande will drive the #38 Toyota Camry with support from Aeropark Camboriú and Baterias Júpiter. The driver from Paraná previously won in his debut at a NASCAR oval in 2025, competing in the Pro Late Model class in the NEXUS Racing – Surf USA Mobile #96 at New Smyrna—a track where he raced again this past February.
“I am very excited for this challenge,” Casagrande said, who currently leads the 2026 NASCAR Brasil Series championship. “It is a great opportunity to race at Bristol, an oval with so much history for NASCAR fans. I am grateful for the support of my sponsors, who made this possible, as well as the work done by NASCAR Brazil. We’re going to try to bring home another positive result.”
The ARCA Menards Series schedule includes a practice session on Thursday, followed by qualifying and the race itself on the same day. The race is set to start at 5:30 PM (EST).
