Jayson Alexander joins Fast Track Racing for multi-race ARCA schedule

Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing will welcome 21-year-old Jayson Alexander to the team as part of a multi-race ARCA platform schedule this year.

Alexander, from Apex, North Carolina, will begin his multi-race schedule Saturday during the ARCA Menards Series East Music City 150 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

A sophomore at Queens University of Charlotte who is also part of the men’s lacrosse team as well as the Army National Guard, Alexander’s efforts will be supported by primary sponsor Constant Contact.

“I am so incredibly excited to make my ARCA debut this weekend,” Alexander said. “When I started racing at 18 I never thought this would be possible, but with the help of Constant Contact and the several teams and supporters I’ve had along the way, this dream is now a reality.”

Alexander’s journey to this moment started in the fall of 2021, when he worked as an intern for Reaume Brothers Racing. He debuted in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series one year later and slowly began building his resume.

He then joined Costner Weaver Motorsports as a driver but soon began helping secure sponsorship for lead driver and team co-owner Caleb Costner. That led to the creation of his own driver agency, the Premier Performance Group.

“I got really good at selling. When I joined Costner Weaver Motorsports I ended up taking over the entire marketing operation for that team,” Alexander explained. “I sold sponsorship for the team as a whole and that would allow me to get in the seat. From there I started my own driver agency, the Premier Performance Group.

“I’ve represented and sold sponsorship for guys like Dawson Cram, Ryan Vargas, Brad Perez and Mason Maggio, just to name a few. That’s kind of how I raised enough money (to race), selling sponsorship for them and taking the commissions to put myself back in the seat.”

However, the chance to compete on the ARCA platform wouldn’t be possible without his primary sponsor, Constant Contact. Amazingly, that partnership was formed thanks to a message on LinkedIn.

“In October of 2023 Constant Contact reached out to me on LinkedIn,” Alexander said. “They said they liked my story and liked everything I was about and wanted to try and put a deal together. So we worked on that for the better part of five months and now here we are, ready to rock and roll. I didn’t even reach out to them. It was awesome.”

Alexander, who shook off the rust by racing a late model last weekend at Wake County Speedway in Raleigh, North Carolina, is looking forward to the challenge that Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway will present as he makes his ARCA platform debut.

“Nashville is a tough track. It’s a really, really tricky track, and I wanted to be challenged for my first race,” Alexander said. “It’s an awesome venue. There is so much history there. It’s a track that I’ve always had circled, and one I’ve always wanted to run.

“This is an awesome opportunity to get my feet wet and test my driving ability.”
