A long and competitive season for the ARCA Menards Series West, and the ARCA Menards Series platform, will conclude this weekend at Phoenix Raceway alongside NASCAR’s top three divisions.
Phoenix has served as the finale date for the West Series since 2019. Aside from the road courses, Phoenix is the largest facility the West Series competes on all year, with its one-mile layout providing plenty of unique characteristics for drivers that includes sweeping turns and a dogleg on the frontstretch.
With Phoenix also being one of two tracks to have two dates on the schedule, Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway being the other, competitors have a notebook to rely on for this weekend’s event. One key difference between the two Phoenix dates is Saturday’s race will take place in the daytime, while the March event occurred in the evening.
A handful of teams from the national ARCA Menards Series are joining the West Series regulars for Phoenix. All of them are looking to take advatange of the final opportunity to secure a victory this year.

Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100 at Phoenix Raceway
By practicing for the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100 at Phoenix Raceway on Friday, Trevor Huddleston achieved a pivotal career milestone; his first ARCA Menards Series West championship.
In the nine years he has been either full-time or part-time with the West Series, Huddleston has amassed nine victories, three poles and 40 top five finishes. Huddleston has secured a career-best points of third during the past two seasons, but he entered Phoenix with a comfortable 34-point advantage and two straight wins to his name.
Huddleston’s closest competition in the West Series championship hunt, Kyle Keller, has also enjoyed a stellar campaign, which included securing his breakthrough victory at Tri-City Raceway. Keller hopes to close out his successful year with Jan Qualkenbush by improving upon a disappointing 15th from Phoenix earlier this year.
Joining Huddleston and Keller on the starting grid for Saturday will be Brent Crews, who is once again piloting the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. Crews was driving for Gibbs when he scored his first official West Series win at Phoenix earlier this year, besting ARCA Menards Series champion Brenden ’Butterbean’ Queen on an overtime restart.
Pinnacle Racing Group, the team Queen was driving for that evening, is returning to Phoenix with the goal of avenging the early-season loss to Crews and Gibbs. Piloting their No. 28 Chevrolet is Carson Brown, who is making his first appearance with the team and his first start across the ARCA Menards Series platform since Five Flags Speedway in March.
Other names participating in the West Series finale at Phoenix include Tristan McKee, Thomas Annunziata, Connor Hall, Jake Finch, Isabella Robusto, Jade Avedisian, Kaylee Bryson, Taylor Reimer and Thad Moffitt.
