Hailie Deegan made a splash in the stock car racing world in 2018 when she became the first female driver since Shawna Robinson in 1988 to win a NASCAR regional series race at Idaho’s Meridian Speedway. Deegan, daughter of legendary X-Games freestyle motocross and action sports legend Brian Deegan, also became the first female in NASCAR to win a national or regional series Rookie of the Year honors in 2018, and added a pair of West wins in 2019. After several years away, Deegan returned to the West Series in 2026 driving for Bill McAnally Racing.
